In 2017, William Johnson earned his Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University School of Law, with a certificate in Human Rights Law. He now works as a Civil Trial Attorney at Stabinski Law.
During law school, William served as Student Articles Editor of the Intercultural Human Rights Law Review, Vice President of the International Moot Court and Vice Justice of Phi Alpha Delta, Law Fraternity International, Mentschikoff Chapter. William has been honored with the Pro Bono Commendation award and was awarded the honor of Dean’s List throughout multiple semesters. Prior to attending law school, William graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas Lutheran University, where he played on the University Football team.
William is an active member of the Florida Bar Association. William previously practiced at an AV-rated insurance defense firm, where his practice consisted of civil defense of insurance claims litigation, as well as fraud detection and prevention, with an emphasis on Personal Injury Protection for several of the nation's top insurance carriers. Besides practicing law, William has worked as a Volunteer Legal Intern for the Broward County Public Defender’s Office and has participated in the Volunteers in Policing Program where he gained invaluable insight into the criminal justice system and law enforcement procedures.
