Stabinski Law announced a class action lawsuit it filed against Citizens Property Insurance.
Several members of the Florida Association for Insurance Reform (FAIR) announced the lawsuit outside the Broward County Courthouse in Plantation Thursday.
“Some people now pay more to Citizens than they do to their mortgage companies,” said Miami insurance attorney Todd Stabinkski.

Plaintiff was entering building’s mailroom when she tripped over a small step. The lights were off in the mailroom and the switch is inside. Plaintiff suffered a fractured hip and femur.
Recovered From Insurance Companies
Woman slipped and fell on a wet floor at a South Beach restaurant and suffered a severe wrist fracture requiring surgery.
Three women were attacked in a parking garage in South Beach, an area known as a tourist attraction with an active nightlife and where garage parking is often expensive. The jury found the defendant to be 95% responsible for the negligence which resulted in physical and emotional injuries to the plaintiffs.
Woman shot and killed by a trespasser at a guard-gated residential community. Another woman was shot in the leg but survived.
Two innocent bystanders were killed during a high-speed vehicle police chase.
